Introduction to the Sino-Denmark Chamber

The Sino-Denmark Chamber (Danish-Chinese Business Cooperation, abbreviated as DCBC) is a non-profit chamber of commerce organization officially registered in Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark. Our members include professionals from the Danish business and industrial communities, Chinese enterprises and overseas Chinese residing in Denmark, as well as individuals from various sectors who are dedicated to promoting exchanges and cooperation between Denmark and China. Upholding an open, inclusive, and pragmatic approach, we are committed to building an efficient and reliable platform for economic and trade interaction, educational cooperation, and cultural exchange for enterprises, institutions, and communities in both countries.

Chamber Mission
The fundamental mission of the Sino-Denmark Chamber is to “promote mutual understanding and deepen practical cooperation,” striving to become a vital bridge for economic, trade, educational, and cultural exchanges between Denmark and China. Through organizing diverse business matchmaking events, educational cooperation projects, and cultural experience activities, we actively enhance mutual understanding and trust between the peoples of the two nations, fostering the sustained and healthy development of bilateral relations.

  • Business Consultation & Matchmaking: Providing market information, policy interpretation, business pairing, and project collaboration support for Danish and Chinese enterprises.

  • Investment & Investment Promotion Services: Assisting institutions from both sides in investment promotion, investment consultation, and resource matching.

Key Achievements in Cooperation
Since its establishment, the Sino-Denmark Chamber has actively promoted numerous bilateral exchange activities, achieving a series of practical outcomes, including:

2019

  • Hosted the delegation from the Economic Development Zone of Dezhou City, Shandong Province, for a study tour in Denmark, promoting dialogue on cooperation in areas such as clean energy and modern agriculture.
  • Assisted the delegation from the Investment Promotion Bureau of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in conducting in-depth meetings with Denmark’s agricultural and food industry, reaching multiple cooperative intentions.

  • November: Assisted the delegation from the Guangdong Chamber of Commerce in conducting economic and trade negotiations with the Danish business community, expanding cooperation in technology and design.
  • September: Organized an exchange for the delegation from Chancheng District, Foshan City, Guangdong Province, with Danish cultural institutions and enterprises, promoting cultural creativity and industrial collaboration.
  • Assisted in hosting promotion events in Denmark for the China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair) and the China International Import Expo (CIIE).
  • Hosted the “Shenzhen-Copenhagen Economic and Trade Promotion Conference,” establishing a cooperation platform for enterprises from both cities in fields like digital economy and green technology.

Educational Exchange

  • Facilitated thematic seminars and course cooperation discussions for educational delegations from both China and Denmark, building channels for sharing educational resources and cultivating talent between the two countries.
